Default Got my first bike!

I finished getting all of $&!^ together and finally got a bike! Gas is not so friendly and I had to get another way to get around.Check out my new to me 96 Suzuki Bandit 600S, it has beena blast to learn riding on this! [sm=icon_rock.gif]

It's currentlygetting the tank / carbs cleaned...only 21,000 miles on it.

Thanks! I just got done with my MSF training and a week later I got one, all of this happened two weeks ago.

Being in the MS can be no fun when I have to drive it with gas so damn expensive, and there isn't any way I am going upside down in a loan to trade it in. I got about 45 MPG with the Bandit, so this will help in the warm months at least!

I haven't been too crazy with it either, not going on the highway for a while yet. Highway speeds is one thing, but the traffic is not something I am cool with yet. A 12K redline is something remarkable when you are used to driving a bus!

Yeah it isn't too big for me, and it is damn fast. I haven't had it more than a week and I am being nice to it till I get more comfortable...no wheelies or high speed (100 MPH) riding. I hear that the MPG will go down as I start to goose it more, but anything is better than 17 MPG.

Bruno I am in Denver, CO...I can't wait to get some miles under my belt andride the twisties! Anyone ride around here?

Nice Dorian, I will want to see pics!
