Well, i decided to take the plunge yesterday afternoon and got mine done... the original piercing wasnt TOO bad, but now it's 5:00am and my sore tongue has woken me up... i've heard that the healing process is the worst part of the whole thing, can anyone attest to that? so far i've found that sucking on ice and sucking down excedrin migraine like it's my job has helped, and lots of cold water, does anyone else have some tips to ease the "uncomfortability"?? lol all help is appreciated

yup healing is gonna be quite a pain on that one.... it all depends on the piercer actually, but usually the worse part is that youre not able to eat what you usually do... and if you do.... expect it to become worse or turn into a HUGE coldsore

 

yea i havent eaten anythin yet besides a freeze pop haha... i'm plannin on eating applesause and soup tonight for dinner... the excedrin has really helped, it just feels weird cause 1)it feels like there's constantly food or something in my mouth and i want to swallow it, and 2)my tongue is swollen and it's a little hard to talk right

 

i've had a few friend that got theirs done, this one girl had her **** done before and got lit and did it again right in front of me when we were hammer drunk... but ya the healing process is a bitch.

 

yea dinner was a bitch tonight... i just cant wait for until a few days when the swelling goes down and it's all gravy from then on

sk8 good choice tongue rings are hot.. my boyfriend has one haha i love what it does.
he said it takes about a week to be back to normal with eating and whatever
