Stay away from oral hydrocortal steroids, that will inhubit your natural immune response and generally take longer to heal if you don't do it JUST right. Also oral hydrocortal steroids aren't good for you anyway.

Just keep it infection free and you should be good to go

 

Yeah you have to relearn how to eat and talk. I recommend carrying a small bottle of mouthwash around and using it frequently. I've had mine pierced for over 7 years now. Just keep it clean and you shouldn't have too much pain. Spaghetti is a tough one to relearn how to eat though.

As for it being better with a tongue ring... Only if they were good with their tongue int he first place. If they sucked witht he tongue then the ring doesn't help any. (Goes for females as well as males)

i think guys getting their eyebrow or tongue pierced is kinda dumb, but the tongue is functional
