Default Help with rust.

ok so around the sunroof is fading and beginning to rust. i will take a picture tomorrow if its needed. but what will i need to fix it. is it easy to do if you havent before?

You will need to grind off all the rust... reshape with body mould and smooth it out.. then prime and paint it. Not a cheap or easy process. Simply get a shop to do it

When i get my car running, ill be doing a **** load of that. Ive already done a bunch, but nothing that ive taken pictures of...

Basically if you want it to look stock again, you will need someone witha lot of experience to sand it, prep it, and paint it. Painting is really not a simple thing what so ever. Its really is an artform, and requires either a lot of practice, or a lot of training. ...or both


If you want, i can take pictures of the process ill be doing to fix it, and post them when i get them...

Jeffisdecentt actually did some bodyfilling on his own car once. It turned out really well although i kinda think he knew what he was doing.
