Its just the clear coat. It needs to be repainted.

i believe that there are a few little spots of rust coming tho. i will go check to make sure when i go to drop off my brother.

if there are a few spots of rust what would i have to do....?

and if it is just the clear coat then what would the process be of fixing it?

There is no actual metal eroded away so that makes things a lot easier. All you have to do is make sure its all nice and dry, sand the area down, and then prime and paint it.

should be to hard, we can sand, tape, paint it and it should look nice and new once again.... let me know when ur doin it, im hangin out with kelly thurs, fri, and sat though.... lol

This is one of those times where el cheapo Macco will actually work to your advantage. Just make sure you prep it for paint before you take it to them

alright ya i looked and there are about 10 spots give or take a few that are pretty small but are still there where you can see some rust i will take pics of them tomorrow if needed because its raining now and it probably wont show up.
