Any other president would most likely have made the same decision, but the plans may have been better. Of course you have to keep in mind that the president isn't the only person making decisions or thinking up these plans. Each president has an entire staff helping him out.

And I'm telling you, if the President was a better public speaker (IE, he stutters so much it makes me embarrassed to have him as our president), a lot more people would take the man seriously. People just think he's an idiot because he talks like one.

I don't know what the government is doing with sex offenders and all these days, I dont keep up.. but I know nothing like that is happening around where I live. At the moment, the government seems to be doing just as good as they were any other time.. I'm not complaining.

... I do wish I made more money though.. the 3-jobs-for-a-house thing is right. lol

Good point. The chance that Bush is calling all the plays is HIGHLY unlikely. His cabinet is just as involved as he is...ultimately he makes the decision, but do you think he goes against his advisors every time he makes a statement? I don't think so.

Delivery is always the key to acceptance and understanding what someone says. If they cannot view you seriously, how can they take your statements seriously? If Bush stutters and loses track of his thought while he is speaking it appears that there is a lack of confidence in himself and or his plan...nervousness. Think about it like this...
If a guy walks up to you and says " Hello. My name is______. I think you have a beautiful smile." he says it with confidence and appears cool and calm.
Guy #2 walks up and says" Hi, uuuh, I'm, well I mean to say my name is _______. You know you ummm, you, well, you got a nice smile" He stutters and his voice trembles with nervousness and obviously he isn't very cool and confident.
The message was for all intents and purposes the same, but the delivery will make a difference.
Ask Clinton to read a speech that George Bush has read and you will see the importance of delivery and the different feeling people get with each.

 

George probably gets high before he gives a speech...maybe he hasn't completely kicked the habit lol.
