If it's not one thing...
it's another. Looks like agallardo isn't the ONLY one with a bad turbo... Thin layer of oil on the inside of all my IC piping, and the last straw was today when I went to reconnect the coolant lines and noticed the "coolant" about to drip from the turbo return line was a nice dark oily color... And the car remains down
It wasn't running yet. I was putting things back together when things fell into place and I realized it was goin south on me. After all the new parts I've put in I didn't want to go ahead and finish and f' it up now. Besides I still have more painting to do before it's time to finish putting EVERYTHING back together.
Actually I'm looking at a 14B for a temporary fix. Then when Trilogy Turbos does their group purchase for the SQ community I'll likely send my 12A off to be gutted and converted to a Super 16G. I already have a BOV on the way and can't afford new IC piping at the moment. Besides the pipes on my Quest are decent as is. Just need to hardpipe vice the braided hose crap that's in there now.
