i dont know if the link will show for everyone but this is what happens when you DON'T replace your timing belt at 60,000 miles. heres the "lucky" part. there was no damage to the engine at all. we slipped a new belt on it and it runs like a champ. when i called these people i told them there would be damage due to the broken belt and the nature of what happens when the belt brakes. I called her back and told her to buy a lottery ticket cuz the car is fine. no bent valves, not holes in the pistons. compression is good and even.

one of the techs joked the 4g64 must not be an interference motor becuase this is in total the 3rd time this has happened. 1 of them ran okay till it warmed then the valves seized. this one got twenty miles on it without even a hiccup
