the way a manifold would crack is if it got really hot then cooled down too quickly. the wrap actually keeps the heat in, so in theory it would be less prone to cracking.. in theory

 

Lol reminds me of my best friend. Possibly the dumbest person I know. Super math smart, but street smart? Hell no. He recently got a Citroen Saxo. Its a 1.1L beast lol.
