I want to buy black carpet for my '97 GST, who has the best pricing for what you get? And some come with and without Mass Backing but it costs about another 90 bucks, do I need that or is it something that is on the car already and not attached to the carpet like sound deadening?

 

This can't be that hard of a question. Need to know soon, valentines day is near.

 

I would go to a junkyard for a used black one, although, they are hard to find.
Anyway, try JC Whitney, I know they have stock type carpets for less than dealership pricing, call and ask them to be sure they have them though.
What is this "Mass Backing" you speak of? The stock carpet doesn't have anything on it but a little adhesive, which is really not needed.

 

I got mine for less than a hunded bucks but I had to cut it out but it wasn't bad
