Lol, I never even thought about the title like that, lol.
My bad, that's just not a kit that's on my mind
But why not? Your car could look like this

I'm just not kosher with injecting a substance into my engine that in KNOWN to resist compression which is also the exact thing engines are designed to do... Perhaps methanol but definately not water for me. Perhaps sometime in the distant future. First I need to get my car running.

my buddy has a jdm sti-like swap(i really dont understand it) that has more power than an sti stock-wise, and it was detonating like a **** until he got his alky injection kit. that thing runs low 12s. very cute.

He's using it as a bandaid though. You should tune out knock first, then apply the alky injection, then tune for knock.
Then again, it depends on why he was knocking in the first place. He could have been running lean (too high psi too), have a hot intake charge, low octane, etc. Nonetheless, that there is some scary stuff. If he forgets to look at his resevoir and runs dry, his motor is toast.

One cool thing about alky injection...it can be an add on to a small FMIC

he has an aftermarket ecu, and tunes with his laptop. Idk what program he uses but its amazing. I think its made by apexi.
The reason it originally was detonating is because it needed at least like 94 octane at full boost. i guess thats readily available in japan?
