Default The new project/toy

Well guys I'm not giving up on the Conquest but I've scored another project that will eventually be my daily driver while I do the rest of the work on the Conquest.

I managed to find a car for $400 with tons of extra parts and it's running already. I could drive it home except for a problem with the brake lights staying on while the car is on.

So without further suspense here are a few pics. I will describe more of her after the pics:

So anyways I scored this for $400. She runs, has a cam installed already and exhaust headers. The guy is giving me tons of extra parts including 4 wheels and tires, spare tire, 2 doors, 3 fenders. and an extra trunk lid. Also an extra rear windshield, starter, 2 extra carbs, headliner, new door panels, and a bunch of other parts. So for the price it's well worth it. Especially since it'll be more economical gas wise and allow me to work on the Conquest while I drive it.

So what do you guys think?

well i'm gonna tell you anyways! lol STI motor will drop into that "engine bay". Imagine traveling down the Interstate and seeing a crappy looking bug w/ the stuttering sound of an STI and being 300+hp. NICE.

I'm trying to keep a good gas mileage guys. Besides just because I COULD drop something in there doesn't mean I SHOULD nor that I can AFFORD to do it. I've seen a super beetle with a chopped front windshield and with an olds V8 in the back. Again doesn't mean it SHOULD be done just that it CAN be done.

Restore her a bit and give her a funkadelic paint job, climb in and smoke some weed and you're good to go man! [sm=pimp.gif]Nice find for 4 bones! I used to like the old Baja Bugs, those were cool.
