I pretty much have it all planed out but i just wanted to get in input of others. I am selling my car soon becuase I am sick and tired of dealing with its **** and its not fast enough for me. So its either....

Sell my car, drive a beater untill may/june and buy a wrx

Sell my car, drive a beater untill march, get a 99 gsx

Sell my car, beater all winter, may/june srt-4

Keep my car, return it to stock, buy a 1g gsx and make that my race car/project car.

Sell my car, buy something decent as a DD, get a gutted rx7/miata/240sx drop a lt1 in it and make that a street sleeper

Keep my car, return it to stock, get a wrecked lt1 and build it up.

 

I vote for keep your car and get a 1g GSX... Thanks just my opinion tho

 

hmm...ill go for da evo9..lol...the fastest import and you can use all season..=D...or maybe an STi...

 

GSX is AWD... dont know if evo_8 knew that?!

 

Also I dont think evo_8 knew that The wrx is the most expensive option, and for that I would be looking to only spend 17,000. Plus the wrx has a better drive train than the evo...if you throw the 6spd in it from the sti. Cost about 2300 shells.

 

240SX all the way!!! I am very very partial to them though. Right now I have sitting in the barn with a R33 Skyline motor in it. They are clean looking cars and have great potential. We picked up our for $5500 with 125K on it from Florida. Not a speck of rust on it. The motor. trans and ECU was $2250 shipped. By the time this project is over the car will be in the 10's with 600-650 horsepower. If you get get a 240SX make sure you get the SE model... they come with leather, sun roof and a LSD in the rear. I love that car.

which skyline engine is in it, and where did you get the engine...
slow, im a dodge guy, but i am very unhappy with the SRT4..also, they are doing away with it.

the WRXs are progressively getting uglier...

the RWD imports with the LT1 will be anything but a sleeper..the sound gives it away...lol

if i were you, i would keep the car you have, and buy something for a track car. its what i did. and when my current DD is paid off in a year or so, evo it is. i am very happy with what ive seen with the built Evos.

i need to know more info, and i will give you my opinion, since ive been in just about every aspect of the automotive field from domestics to imports, from sales to service to performance...

how much can you spend on total...how much do you think that you would get for your car?
