Can anyone tell me step by step how to take the alternator off of my 97 Spyder 2.4 GS??? I understand that there is a tension pulley for the belts that i have to loosen! Where is that located and how is it done??? Please any info would be greatly appreciated!!

you should be able to see the alternator from the top of the engine bay. This shouldnt take you long to replace. Maybe like 1-2 hours. Just unbolt the old one. Usually its held in by 2 bolts. The tension is kept by the alternator itself by a long bolt. Whengetting the new one in jsut loosen that bolt and tighten after you have the belt back on. Its tough to explain jsut kinda start doing it and youll see.
