well the pics dont really give me a feel for whats done, but its definetly gonna be nice when all is said and done. What are you gonna do about the body rott. Have you already taken care of that mess?

 

i hear ya with the body rot when i sanded all the rust off my montero fixin up the body there were holes...i thought this was gonna be a breeze but there is rot throught the corner of the hood and back right passenger door...i do all my own work and im on a tight budget so im gettin a welder at wal mart for $100 and a spray gun kit for idk how much i think like 70$ at the same place..my freinds are helping me out with it i got sheet metal bondo and primer....I CANT EVEN AFFORD A JACK i had to prop it up on bricks to change the oil (run em over) but good luck with the datsun it looks beutiful so far man

 

ahhhh back to the good ol all nighters. Its now 5:31 am, been working on wiring since 9:30 pm. ive got a lotta the wiring done! I would probably go to sleep soon, but im leaving for an autocross at 6:15 so, i guess no sleep tonight....Back to the wiring

 

I must tell you, that welder will not work at all for what you want it to do. to make good body welds you MUST have gas. Just electricity will get you no-where fast. Trust me, ive tried making a lot of my own things but they just dont come out right at all. Dont waste your hundred bucks.

 

Gosh I can't wait to see the outcome of this. That engine gave me chills.
