Mine just slowly built up over time. And you have to remember out of the top 10 posters until recently most hadn't posted in a while. Now since the new blood has come in and is knocking the top 10 out there is more participation in the top 10.

Thats true, but i wonder how long it will take untill we have a group of members that are going to stay for a while. Off the top of my head I can think of about 10 members that have been active since I joined "not counting mods"

The new guys like me sit back and take it all in, you guys are an awesome source of knowledge...thanks for all the info.
How long have you all been affiliated with Mitsubishi's? It seems that you guys answer nearly all the questions. Is it all off the top of your heads or is it things you have to look up? I'm still lost on engine codes...lol[&o]

I have only been here since august, but I have been on mitsu car forums since 2004, I would say that 19 of ever 20 questions I know the answer to off the top of my head. Their is always that one question that you know where the answer is but cant remember it.

If I don't know the answer off the top of my head (Which for MOST thing I actually do believe it or not) I search either my books or the net till I find the answer... Or someone else here posts it for me LOL...

As for how long I've been into mitsu's... They're really just like every other car out there. All the basic components are the same the only thing, once you know engine basics as well as typical symptoms of certain problems, that you need to really learn are the small quirks each model has. Like the 93-99 crankwalk iissue on the Eclipse or even the smaller nuances like the IAC that goes bad or the BISS that needs reset every once in a while. If you start learning about 1 type of car and get a good grasp on the basics then you can transfer the majority of that knowledge to just about any other car. Just learn the little quirks of each type. I could probably go to the Civic forum and be almost as helpful as I am here.

I would merely have to learn what engine is in what car and what the possibilites of each are.

Any thing I answer with saying I know than its off the top of my head if I say I think then that is different. I have been a mitsu owner since 2001 I have owned 3 and played a little with Johns talon too
