I dont like the carbon fiber trunk lids either. They just dont look right unpainted

 

they look dirty to me. to much CF is just tacky and looks dirty.

 

My brother wants his elise totally CF ... i like it

 

If he paints most of it thats cool but otherwise it will look dirty to me. I think that looks so ricer IMO

 

cf hatches are so ugly.

 

no offense to you man, I honestly think CF haatches look dirty. the one thing that makes up for it on your car is the wingless factor and being a black car but it even still just ehhh to me

 

To each his own... I got the cf hatch and you have the space shuttle wing.

 

yupe yupe... you paid to make your car dirty mine came stock that way lol j\k ....... On topof that I have been planning on pulling it off this winter and trying it out wingless. ALTHOUGH it actuall make a huge difference in slolum Evos with the space man wing do about 10MPH higher than wingless Evos in the slolum

 

Mine came stock with a wing too... I would have paid anything to patch the holes that nasty **** left. Wings are for ricers.

I know your car came with a wing. My point was you paid a pretty penny to put on a carbon hatch (which IMO is ugly no biggy) and I paid nohing to add a huge wing.

Im not sure what your getting at about this downforce stuff? yea my wing is stock as are ALL HUGE Evo wings they make the handling of the car better so what? the only thing keeping me from pulling the wing off has nothing to do with down force it is the holes in the truck and I am not going to go and put a CF trunk on for that im all set the wing look far better than a CF trunk( IMO lol) not to mention my car looks like a IS300 without a wing on it
