I hope that poor puppy is all right. Sucks to have that happen... And depending on the area you're in, there may not be an animal emergency room (There actually is one out here where I live). Keep tryin to wake the dude and good luck.

 

well the dude called me in the mourning said he was taking the dog to the vet right away, he was still alive and shaking,ill keep yall posted....thanks Kaede.Noirfor you help last night!!!

 

oh man. that's rough. I hope he makes it out ok.. last time I had an animal that got hit he had blood coming from his mouth but he had already passed. Blood from the mouth is never good.. but seeing as how he made it through the night maybe he'll be ok. Your neighbor owes you big time

 

man ya i have an animal hospital open all night too to bad there wasnt one in your area. sad story man. but you are one awesome neighbor. to bad your neighbor didnt wake up last night. i bet he feels bad

 

I dunno we had a dog (My uncle has the dog now) that was hit by a car and made it just fine without a hospital trip. Either way I hope the dog makes it

 

things you did wrong

1.you hasitated
2.you should have applyed direct pressure to the wound (if exteral)
i hope you wherent just watchin the dog as it layed there... and if it was me i would have just toke it to the 24hr vet office

 

Im sorry man but you just made yourself look like an ***. He went way above and beyond what most neighbors would have done.AlsoI believe he said there was no 24 hr clinic around. If you want to blame anyone blame the owner of the dog for leaving it outside with no leash to keep it out of the street.

 

exactly, next time read the whole thing before you post ignorantly... well the dog has some head injuries, all the vet did was give him a shot for the pain and to stop brain swelling, he might make it,hopefully. my neighbor said he woke up to 50+ missed calls lol. i did what i could and my neighbor was thankful so thats that!!
