Damn, you did get an early start! Haha I've only been doing CAD now for little over a year.

I'm also in the civil engineering field. The firm I work for specializes in pipelines, so we do jobs for Chevron, ExxonMobile, ConocoPhilips, etc. I'm still working on my engineering degree and it's really nice to have a job in the field that I want to start my career in. I got the job almost a year ago and this company has been very nice to me so I'll probably stick around for a while lol

What kind of stuff do you do? And how in the world were you able to start at 15? lol

It's $8.00/hr now.

I was lucky enough to land a job at an engineering firm as a CAD Technician. Not bad for only being 20 years old =D They are gonna pay for the 6 bolt swap and build I plan on doing to my eclipse

I was 16 and had to decide if i wanted to move onto cad 3 or take woodshop... i should have taken cad again

Wow, so CAD was offered at your high school? I started taking CAD classes in college. I took two courses in CAD and then everything else I have learned on the job, and that is quite a bit. You learn more on the job than anywhere else, you could probably get a job for a firm if you know your way around the program still.
