i'm looking at this car on saturday....if you haven't seen/heard my problems with my eclipse since i've had it, i'm probably getting a new one...this is the one i'm interested in:

 

No stay away from that...its garbage

 

its very clean. But that about all its got goin for it. Turbo 420a's are pretty lame-ooo. I would stay away from it. Keep lookin.

I agree. It looks really nice. But id be very weary about buying a turbocharged 420a. You might end up with more problems than you already have with this one. If you want a turbocharged one then get a GS-t or GSX

 

yeah i just can only get one from a dealer...since i have to trade my car in...and i can't find any other eclipe's anywhere on a lot... [&:]

 

have you searched online at all, like autotrader. Just out of curiosity, what were they asking for that eclipse

 

miles? year? price? i don't think its a bad idea as long as the bottom end has been rebuilt... if it has not than it's a definate no unles you have the funds to rebuild it and have the option to have the car down while the bottom end its being rebuilt OR have a spare 420a block (which i have for sale. i have 1 block, 2 cranks and 1 main cap)

 

well, it's only got 13K on the new motor, and it's in perfect running condition. so that's why i'm looking at getting it, because it's in WAY better running condition than the car i have now.

my best friend works on mitsubishi's, and he is best with eclipse's, so if i had a problem with it, i go straight to him. i'm just really interested in getting it, my car is running like crap right now, and just keeps getting worse.

and they're asking $6,995, but, i'm a girl once again, and have "Assets", it might help haha. i'm sure i could get the price down a little, and they said they'd take my car as a trade in also. so that makes it even lower on the price i'd get it for kind of.


but yeah...if i got this car, you guys wouldn't be disappointed in me would you? haha.....i'm serious though, if you drove it, it's in WAYYYYY better running condition than my car now

 

Im sure its in much better condition. But when we see a turbo on a non-turbo car, our first thought is...i hope the person who did it knew what they were doing and made sure to mod it correctly with all the additional supporting mods. Like for instance, does it have any tuning device on it like an safc. And you said its only got so many miles on the new motor. I would want to know why it has a new motor, reciepts, and if they upgraded the internals on the new motor. So you see our concern. Who knows what your getting with a modded car unless you have reciepts or at the very least, a list telling you
