Supra POLL im tempted to buy so many
so have you decided auto or manual? i would go with the manual just because i think autos arent as much fun to drive. and its not like the supra is going to be your dd. but i do see where having an auto at the track would be better. really its up to you but manual is what i would do. have you bought the supra yet?
still love this supra from the sights and sounds thread. I want to see you build one B.A. supra

You have to factor in all the elements of the equation. Like you mentioned, the 6speed has this, this, and this over the auto, and the auto has this, this, and this, over the 6speed. Then rank all the elements of the 6speed and the auto, and rank them in order of what is most important to you. What ever catagory has most... then you know.

I think by now he knows exactly the pros and cons on both. I think the only thing that would ever sway him into an auto is something like this one, that is just so incredibly clean and well kept that you forget that its even an auto.

all the major maintanence has been done and then some. I mean he pulled the motor out and re sprayed and re cleared the engine bay and then redid all the clips and isulation ect ect. Im begining to think this car is a hell of a deal. I mean it has a fresh rebuilt motor with some good inside goodies too nothing to out of control either. and I just looked up the turbo and it is a high 600HP turbo too. This car just needs a few things to go there. then I made the mistake to watch videos on the autos on the street and track and they freakin fly compaired to the 6 spds. I just know cruising a big part of the fun factor is having control of the gears and power band, BUT taking the roof off and having a super clean car also helps the fun factor. Then a few go fast goods too helps.
All I know for sure is the auto to purchase doesnt hurt the bank acount nearly as bad as the 6spds. A 6spd in this shape will go for mid to high $30k range it is insane the amount people are getting these days
