well dude, think about it... this car has a lot of technology built into it, and in order to have all that technology work well AND consistently they built it around an auto... with a stick all it becomes is just another fast car with a stick, with the auto it adds some character... at least thats what i think

I think its better they are doing it like this. I think you only other thing they might have been able to incorporate (and i dont even know if they did i havnt done enough research on this car.) is like the evo with the paddle shifters. I think that would be perfect.

im not ignoring you point at all. But there isnt much point to make 2 completely different cars just to get a stick shift in there. I mean were talking about cars that are driven by computers head to tow. in order to make a manual shift it im sure would damper on nissan to have to rework all of the drivetrain and diff electronics just for a stubburn man ya know what I mean. who knows it may come out at some point with one. I actually hurd the Evo 10 will have a autoshift or year one then go to a choice of autoshift or 5 speed
