my uncle has a 93 accord i believe it is. and its red with DARK window tink, custom exhaust, a few mods, its pretty quick. lowered and body kit. he wants 3500 for it. he said he would sell it to me for 2300. the only thing wrong with it is the breaks are bad, needs new rotors calapers and pads obviously. he bought it for 4500, im thinkin if i buy it and get some callapers from the junkyard and get new rotors and pads, i could make a few bucks on it..... the ppl around this area LOVE riced out cars so what do you guys think... good idea or waste of time?

 

If you can get everything that you need to repair it for cheap, you can probably try to bump up the price that you bought it for + the price of the repairs to a higher price. Possibly at $4,300. However, it is a 93 model. If you really think people will like it, then go for it. I know I'd go for it if I knew people were into ricer cars, you can also say that its a "Performance" car with its custom exhaust. It's really a 50/50 shot.

 

i wouldnt buy it...Honda+body kit=way to common....you can get better cars for 3500.

 

if you can make a buck on it, do it.

 

But if you cant. Youre stuck with a Honduh. lol

Id say for the time your gonna have to spend getting the parts and them fixing it, then going to resell it. Your not gonna make much if anything. Its pretty old. Youd really have to find an idiot to make any kinda profit on it worth your while. And trying to sell a car in the private market sucks too. You may end up with it for longer than you wanted and have to sell it for less than you think. I dont think its worth the time.

i can fix it no problem, i had to do all that to the eclipse when i bought it.... and i know i can get 4,300 for it no problem... i had an idiot trying to convince his dad to give him 8,000 to buy my car... so i know i can get 4,300 no problem.... and even if i couldnt sell it, (im gunna hate myself) but at this point its ALOT faster than my eclipse. it also has some engine mods but im not 100% sure what it has yet... the local junkyard has the callipers i need and if im gunna resell it, **** i mines will buy the rotors at the junkyard too. lol....... and the hondas with body kits are VERY common around here, but mostly hatchbacks for some reason, idk why but ppl continue to do it when you see one every few blocks.

 

update..... i think its a 92
