i saw the xm-8 in pop sci last month. showed the gun and all the modifications for different uses. Turn it from shoot first ask questions later, to serious sniper rifle. its pretty neat. great heat dissapation on the barrel for auto use.

thats cool, what kinda rifles did you use. i shoot a 237 out of 250 on a Marine Corps rifle range using an m-16 a2 5.56 NATO, my best shooting is prone, 500 yards, 4 head shots, 4 center mass, and 2 in the shoulder (3 ring), my instructors get mad at me when i do that..... course its a pain in the *** with the wind at 10 mph, second best score in my company. we also shoot from 100 standing, sitting; 200 standing, sitting and prone; and 500 sitting and prone. wish id gone through sniper school...... i would love to try the xm-8 though, to bad im not in the service anymore........

yea, i think we get a lot more rifle training than you do, hehe, but hey, just point and shoot right, LMAO, but you guys train with pistols dont you? we dont generaly train with the 9mil till we hit E-3 or higher, i got to though cause of my MOS, i loved my lil 9 mm......... oh, and just so you know, if it was the A2 its 5.56, the A1 is the 7.62, that, the barrel grips and the rate of fire are the only diff. between the two..........
