yeah, go turbo's... also, they are gonna kill the image of the TT supra that is capable of 1000hp... ya know
not every supra was turbo or tt for that matter. they ibly started putting turbos on the supras when the mk3 came out. befoe that there was the celica supra. in l type and p type. p stands for performance. lol. but the are not killing the image of the supra. the supra was meant to be a japaneese spaorts car bordering on supe car performance for it's time. i'd say the new supra is doing just that.
100% agreed. I bet this v8 supra will be even better in the long run than the MKIV

the problem here is the difference in opinion... there are 2 ways to look at it... 1 the old tt il6 was bad *** holding up to (i think) 700whp to the stock internals, capable of over 1500whp which is just rediculous and Yoda should make something that jumps right back on the band wagon to continue it. OR they are coming out w/ a new bad *** car that will rival the Vette's and new GT500... i'm assuming that most ppl in the tuner world will go with option 1 (as am i) but oh well. not our decision. those are my 2 cents and i'm stickin to em lol

the lexus is300 and is330 has the 2jz motor in it but obviously not tt and the internals can't hold anymore than about 450whp . but built right, yes, they can hold the same power.

or just do a 2jz GE motor and 6 spd swap its a drop in swap nice and easy.

Oh and the 2JZ GTE stock bottom end has been dynod at over 1000HP thats just adyno run but has been street driven at over 900HP

I guess the dyno of 1000 is kind of pointless anyway. The Evo stock bottom dynos around 700 so far but only street able at alittle over 500
