i have a 04 outlander with a 2.4 engine i was wondering if anybody has ever had problems with the throttle body??? does anyone know where i can get one for a good price the dealer wants $1,000 i aint paying that much any websites that sell used mitsubishi parts or new parts for a reasonable price

 

what problem do you have that makes you think you need a new one

 

the truck cuts off sometime check engine light finally came on & i got it checked yesterday & the mechanic said the code that came up was for the throttle body

 

i would be very surprised if it was the TB itself. Most likely its a seal or gasket that is leaking

 

i might let somebody else look @ it cuz i had many carz & the tb never went out but if it did go out do u kno where i can get a new or used 1 for a reasonable price??

 

i would think a junk yard would be your best bet
