Breather Pipe, no where to go?!

Breather Pipe, no where to go?!
I've got a Chariot, G37B type and there is a breather pipe coming off the fuel pump that currently goes into an old soft drink bottle! I don't think this is a factory original item! Any help as to where it's suppose to go???
