The engine management light has come up and I had the car plugged in the codes that came up where PO488(intake air control flap status line) PO487(intake air control flap no load) and PO183(fuel temperature sensor circuit high input). As a result we were advised to change the EGR, which I did, however the light still came up, but now only one code remains,PO488. The next stage was to clean all the intake manifold and surrounding areas ,this was done but guess what the engine management light and code still remains.The car drives reasonably but every now and then when the throttle is applies gently at around 30 mph the car seems to be missing a beat. I am at a loss now of where to go next as I have a major journey soon and worried as to the cars health . Please could someone help as I am not sure of what do next , thanks.
