I decided to see how the good ole daily driver compared to my buddies 97 civic.
I've got a bone stock 01 RS with the horrible 15inch wheels . He's got I/H/E and an aggressive high revving cam, and it's all stripped out, PS/AC removed.

I know it's nothing special but It surprised me when he couldn't pull away. I jumped about a half a car ahead off the line but i couldn't stop spinning (thanks 15 inch wheels !) It just sat around 5k for a couple seconds.For about the entire race he was half a car in front of me but I hit fourth and started gaining a little. We stopped around that point.

I was just surprised at how much the RS really had. If i could keep from spinning as much I would have taken him. And his car is pretty quick for what it is.But I'll save the racing for my other car.

Just a interesting story for you guys if your bored at work like I am.
