man...all i'm saying is typing (grammar & spelling) like a kindergarten kid, will get you no where w/some people. (me being one of them) Anyway...there are a few flaws in some of the posts above....but i'll hold my tongue....anyway....i don't drive a fast car...lol...not yet atleast, but i've honestly taken a few...focus 2dr, my gf's 03 civic ex, 98 accord 4 dr, 98 spyder gs, a handful of Civics (crx's & si's included). I honestly don't fool around w/the heavyweights unless they provoke me. I.E., I was at a local car wash spot just WAITING on my buddy to finish getting his car done and these teenagers pull up in a yellow and black 02 style mustang....pulls up next to me and starts revving his pos like he's the ****. He's got 2 girls in the back and his buddy in the front. So i just give the friendly nod, but for some reason, this kid would not take no for an answer. Regardless, I ditch my boy for a few and follow what appears to be a Cobra...so i know i'm dead...we stop and he lets the 2 girls out (smartest thing he did). so we line up at this empty intersection and the passenger counts down from three....enter me, the usual wheel hopping SOB, I decide, since I'm going to lose, I'll just gently slip the clutch....well, i take off one tire fire style and i look next to me...then in the side view, then in the rear....this guy hasn't moved.....I'm like wtf...is there a cop??? so i pull back around and ask....he said his foot slipped off the clutch. yah..ok guy.
So, he insists we line up again...ugggh, here we go. We line up again....and the same **** happens. C'mon, who can make this **** up?? All I'm seeing is his car just sitting there. So I stop, get out and get in his car...i have only driven a stang once (my best friend's 01 Cobra convertible)....well, needless to say, I dumped the **** out of his clutch....and nothing...i felt no power....not like my friends. So I pop the hood....what I saw made me almost **** myself...with laughter...it was a "Fake Snake". The kid put the badges on....I couldn't believe this....it was the regular joe blow stang you see grandma driving. What a dick.

Im so mad i just got done driving to drop off a video at the movie store and then some civic comes up and then Im just driven normaly and it blows by me and then at the next stop light all the kids laugh and ****. Then they won't race again, so mad now theyl be like we beat ur car and stuff.

 

all you folks with the talons and eclipses need to quit playing with those over priced underpowered hondas and step up and race a true sport compact!! im not talking about wrx's or evo's which are nice cars but try racing a dodge srt-4 and you see what a true sport compact can do!!!!! mods are: atp turbo stage 3, mopar stage 1 ecu,mopar BOV,magnecore 8.5 race wires,high flow fuel pump,750cc injectors,CAI,3"down pipe,3"exhaust,2"drop all around,mopar SS w bushings,centerforce stage 3 race clutch, Dynoed 400hp at the crank and 365hp at the wheels, with a little more tinkering could see close to 450hp at crank and 415-420 at wheels!!!!

I test drove the GTO yesterday...and I MUST say she's quite a lady....you will understand, once you test drive one.

 

No pics yet my digital camera is tweeking out!! I was looking at the GTO before I bought my SRT, beautiful car its just to heavy!!! they say 350hp but once you add in the weight and size of the car your probly talking only 280-285hp at the wheels which isnt worth 30-35k! STAY SAFE AND REMEMBER ITS A NEON UNTIL IT BLOWS YOUR DOORS OFF THEN ITS A SRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I was driving home the other day hoping to find someone to race but as luck would have it there was nobody on the roads. Just as I thought it was going to be another lame night I pulled up to two cars at the red light one was a 04 EVO and the other was an AWD GSX and the third lane next to them was wide open so the gentleman I am pulled up next to them and gave them a nice couple of revs.. They were kind enough to rev back and the onslaught was on!!! As the light turned green the EVO and GSX;s AWD launched them perty hard. As I dumped the clutch my tires lost all traction(even with the quaffie differencial). But once may car caught traction and my new stage three kicked in it was game over!!!!(full boost is seen at 3000rpm all the way thru 6700rpm) The first car to go down was the GSX, I think I passed him at 120mph then came the EVO which had a good lead. But Ive noticed after racing a couple of Evo's that there really not alll there cracked up to be, they'll get you from a dig but their top end sucks thats why you'll always find an EVO driver wanting to run from a dig then from a roll!!! Anyways, I finally caught the EVO and procceded to wave high and bye to him at around 155ish!!!!! So what started out as a slow drive home ended up being a great oppurtunity to try out my new stage 3!!!!!!!! REMEMBER ITS A NEON UNTIL IT BLOWS YOUR DOORS OFF THEN ITS A SRT-4
