Sorry dude. We all dont have the excessive amounts of money to be as much of a tuner as you are. 415 hp. Come on. Most of us still use our babies as our daily driver.

And do you not know how to properly launch. or are you hoping that enough money will solve that. Because any drag racer will tell you, a win might be a win, but a driver with class and skill, not just money, is the one that is respected at the end of the day. Dont come boasting on a mitsu site that you beat an evo and gsx and expect everybody to be happy that you are hear.

General car talk... sure... race day ET's or rally lap times... deffinately... but dont boast.

Just to let you know Im an equal oppertunity racer, that race against the EVO and GSX were just my most recent one. If it were two other cars at the light I would have raced them just the same!!! Why would I come on to this web site to start problems, I actually am a fan of the eclipse. If you knew your cars background you would know that the ECLIPSE your driving or any other mitsubishi at that wouldn't be around today if it wasn't for Chrysler/Dodge saving them from bankrupcy in the late 80's , so were basicly like step brothers in the sport compact world!!!!!!!!! And yes I do know how to launch but you try turning 400hp thru your front wheels and see if you can keep them from breaking free!!! If it makes you happy heres a list of cars ive raced so you dont think im an evil MB hater: 02 VW GTI 1.8T APR STAGE 3, 04 FORD MUSTANG MACH 1, 03 NEON SRT-4, 93 LOTUS ESPRIT, HONDA CIVICS, HONDA PRELUDES, 02 CORVETTE C5&Z06, NISSAN 350Z&300TT, the list goes on and on so just relax there was no harm done!!! I was just responding to the guy who asked if there were any good kills lately!!!!!![sm=smiley31.gif]

hey 1quicksrt4... no offense to you intended.. but you sound like one of those stupid **** rich kids that thinks he is everything because he has the money to unload.. like wildwest said about the daily driver... Ihave a 97 gsx and a 02 specV if I ONLY had my gsx, I could have put the $18,000 I paid for the specV into the engine and not only been able to hand you your car scorched from the flames coming out the *** end of my car BUT I would have to do it on the track cause it would be to much for the road. So stop being a dick. other than that. nice car, good kill.. just calm yourself with all the bragging cause this forum isn't for that.

Btw. i do know mitsu's history. I live less than 30 min from the plant and heard the tour many times. But you came in with the wrong atitude. Racers we are, at times. but this forumn is more for car questions and the occasional kill rather than for tuners. that is what dsmtuners.com is for. Sorry to bite your head off, but as burnt said, you come across very badly.

First off what ever gave you the notion I was some spoiled rich ****ing kid with tons of money to unload???? Im actually a 30 year old man who works hard for his money and just so happens to have love for the sport compact!!!! If you would of read what I had to say I said I was a big fan of the ECLIPSE and I actually wanted one for the longest time. It just so happens when I was out looking at cars to buy I stumbled across the SRT which was at the dealership right next door to the MITSUBISHI dealership. As for having tons of money to throw into my car that again shows your lack of car smarts. I bought my car out the door for 23,500 and to get the horsepower ive only sunk $5500 in after market parts!! And one more thing about me being a dick and bragging to much sorry but I thought I was under the forum STREET/STRIP any good kills post here?? See thats one thing about sport compact forums if you get on a forum about cars other then yours and post a good kill your automaticly considered a dick or your braggin to much!!! I just wanted to join your forum to talk to people about their cars and their kills with out hurting peoples feelings! Just remember just because we drive different cars we still have the same love!!!! OUR CARS!!!!!!!!! So grow a thicker skin and lets all just get along and share stories about our cars to each other!!!!![sm=smiley31.gif]

Ok guys, it's been over a week now. No good kills??? I played around with a chick in a 99 Grand Prix the other night. She would jump off the line but was too chicken to hold it. Oh well, other than that it has been pretty quiet around my neck of the woods.

I ran my brothers APR STAGE 3 VW 1.8T the other day it was a close race,he's pushing 21psi and 326hp at the wheel, we got them up to around 140mph but had to back off because at 140 traffic at a red light comes at you in a hurry!!!! Dont know who the winner was guess we'll have to line them up and run them again! BE SAFE AND REMEMBER:ITS A NEON UNTIL IT BLOWS YOUR DOORS OFF THEN ITS AN SRT!!!!!!!
