RE: BAD NEWS FOR A HONDA
I like both honda and dsms i seen some nasty hondas around here and some nasty evos. but last week i seen some guy named killer b with a integra beat this evo with sponsers on 28 psi running 12's who know what he was on and he didnt have a turbo( the integra). i think hes on a fully build gsr with spray that was a good race.

What about a 240hp N/A Honda S2000?

Actually I have to take up for Honda on this one. Honda makes the best power for the size engines they make. They have a 1.6L with 185hp...I've never seen any other car company with numbers like that with a small engine. The prelude engine comes with a h22 which is a 2.2L and the Type S one comes with 220hp and no, it does not have a turbo. I'd like the see a stock GST race a semi built N/A prelude or a CRX with a b16 swap that's fairly built. It would be tough for the eclipse. I know lots of ppl with Honda's and they aren't slow if you do **** to them. Think about it. They also seem to have the most technology into their cars from what I can see. They last forever as well. I dunno. Are all of you that conceited? You all have to talk **** about other car companies to feel better about your own car?

secondly, again, the RX7 isn't a 1.3 liter if you're comparing it to a 4-stroke engine. it's a 2.6 liter. and in case you continue to need proof:

As for your personal tastes in cars, so be it. Though I could just as easily go "well EVO's sound like ***. have fun with your 3000rpm boost while I hit 13's naturally aspirated and stomp your car on a road course or auto-x on my gas sipping honda". But that's a pointless argument, since everyone has their own tastes.
here's some national championship A-stock results from 2005. You have to go to 19th place to even find the first EVO. meanwhile 11 S2000's finish ahead of the 19th place EVO.

RE: BAD NEWS FOR A HONDA
Sorry meant Mountain Dew pic.
And I am beginning to thoroughly hate Hondas and Acuras. Up here in Minnesota, the only "modified" cars are Civics, Accords, and Integras. And their drivers only put money into the body to make it look fast. I am so tired of them! They don't put any money into the engine for power to back up the looks.

LOL.. i wish our place can race more like that.. DAMn Bay area... undercover cops EVERYWHERE! .. at one point, there was a fast WRX stopping at a red light trying to speed, an undercover cop Pulled him straight over.. damn... that saved me at least a cheap body kits.. lol

RE: BAD NEWS FOR A HONDA
NOT ALWAYS a BAD NEWS FOR HONDA.. don't diss hondas like that you guys.. .the civic were design for fuel economy... only ricer would soup it up to make it look fast.... the Accords ARE HELLA HELLA DURABLE!!! we're talking about 400k of engine life here! i know a guy, his 92 accord lasted up for 3 something already. almost 400k... and.. dont' forget about the NSX from honda.. cost like what?... 35k for a 91 NSX!!!! and is it really that slow? personally, my gst... always giving me a hard time.. always something wrong... always more money to it... you know... it's like... the Toyota's site.. dissing DSMs..... cause i know supras and mr2 could beat eclipse and evo... if they can do a good job tunnin'.. afterall, a car is just a car... well.. wouldn't it be nice to have those type of cars out there like the civics, for us to smoke 'em ?? haahha

RE: BAD NEWS FOR A HONDA
I have a Civic, and I have it dropped, and with 17's on it, with exhaust, and intake, but I have never raiced it. I know my car is slow, and people try to race me, but I know I'm going to get beat, and kill my engine doing it. My car is show, and I bet most Civic owners are. I think, from personal experience, people that own Civics own them bcuz they are the easiest to fix. Their parts can be found anywhere. As for speed, they are not fast unless you put a shht load of parts into them, but the parts are cheap bcuz they have them everywhere. Wouldn't you like to have a car that you know you can get parts for it at any store, and since they have them at any store, they would be cheap, bcuz of the competition. I've seen intakes at Pep Boys for Hondas, but hardly for Mitsu's, hence my theory. But don't get me wrong, my true dream car is a 01 Galant. Love the style, simple yet nice. I've owend a Sentra, and a Saturn, and stock, they both kick my Civic's ***, but I still like doing mods to it. Not for race, but looks.

RE: BAD NEWS FOR A HONDA
I guess that's cool. I mean I was referring to civic owners who try to race me because they are dumb enough to think that a new muffler and intake are enough to make them fast. I'm tired of it. But hey if you do it just for looks because you just want your car to look the way you want it to, then all the more power to you.

RE: BAD NEWS FOR A HONDA
Yeah, I know what you mean. Civics try to race me too. They pull up, and rev, and I just look at them. I'm telling you, just bcuz I have it dropped with rims don't mean I want to race. So, I'm just sitting at the light, and it turns green, and they take off all quick. I just take off my regular. And it's funny to me that by the next light, we meet up again. It's like, what was the point of that, just to prove you're faster? Most of the time I think to myself, let's bet this, who's engine is going to last longer, yours, or mine. I'm not racing any other guy who's car is dropped.
