yah if the person can drive they can go about 12.9 stock but a bad driver will still run low 13's. I dont know were you got 13.9's from but they can run almost a full second faster than that. Also stock they have about 340 hp and 380 torque at the crank about 310 hp and 335-340 torque at the wheels.

LT1 are not anywhere near 12s stock they are hardly 13s stock
LS1s thats a diff story. Wish I could swap on in my car actually (like the RX7 guys always do..... crazy powerful motor with tons of potencial in a 2700LBS car)

yeah they said 2000 or newer and the other guy said Ls1's run 13.9's. If the guy he raced had an Ls1 he probably just couldn't drive or his car wasn't running right. I might run a 13.9 at the moment just because my cylinder #3 is misfiring but it should stil be lower than that. I can't remember if you said you raced from a roll but those automatics have trouble on those because of their shift points.

I didn't come on here to start anything I was just letting him know in case he didn't know how fast an LS1 was and because someone listed an incorrect time for the LS1. Also the reason I joined is because I am think of trying to build me a 00-04 Elcipse GT Turbo V6 for a daily driver and in case I am forced to sell my Trans Am. I am only on here to try and gain some info and learn what I must do to build one. I have also thought about buying a 2G turbo eclipse for offroad use but that idea is the last one on my mind.
