ok i was on my way home tonight and just as im about to turn to leave town some guy in a single cab dodge ram id say 04 model revs it on me, it was a V8 i could tell by the sound, anyway he follows me to a back road and we were about to go from a roll at 20mph well i didnt kno if it was a hemi or not, so he honked and on the third one we took off now i was expecting to get raped but some how i pulled about a car length in front of him, so its gotta be a 4.7L well he gets kinda mad and he says lets race from a dig well now i dont have torque for crap and my auto tranny isnt helping lol so we line up and take off, hes about a car n a half away from me but then we hit about 70 and i start pulling on him hard and as i pull up i see him in his side mirror with this look of hate, so i pass him and get about 100mph(the speed limit is 40 on the road) i slow down, he was about a car length behind me then we pull into a store and talk for a bit, and the first thing he said was "your all top end" lol and i thought it was so funny cuz i was thinkin it dont matter i still won, so i told him i had to leave then he took off spinnin his tires lol well thats my night of fun and yes i kno the rams arent that fast but if you can beat one in a mirage it makes you feel fast lol.

 

lol my dad has an 02 ram 1500...its a 5.9l its pretty quick i might add good kill.

ah yes.....the 5.7 Hemi. Therein lies the potential for one bad engine. One of the guys that I work with has on '04 Ram 1500 quad cab w/ just intake and exhaust and it'll get up and go pretty good.
