Any stock V6 mustang vs. Gs-t. Let's say 96 Gs-t?

 

GSt easy....Stock GST would hang fairly well with alot of V8 mustangs

 

you'll definetly be looking at the v6's in the mirror. Put an exaust intake, and mbc w/ guage, and you'll beat most v8's as well

 

most stock V8 mustangs..... he will get smoked by SS camaros and WS6s firebirds and all that GM stuff

 

True dat take it from a former Mustang owner. Stangs sound fast they have power but, are not quick. A Stang will always lag from the line the power is in 3rd gear If you race a Stang on the E-Way over 75-80 forget about it but in a regular 1/4 or your regular 2block races A Gs-T will own a Stang V6 or V8.

Note: If you are talking about the 88-93 thats another story those V8 5.0s where some Beasts!

 

even the older 5.0's you will beat if they are basically stock (few mods). Cuz i raced one and all i had was an intake and i kept right up with him. He pulled very little in third.

 

no the 5.0s are more of a threat than the 4.6ls... I aboslutly smoked that modded 4.6 and even in third I was walking him HARDCORE

 

good info. I was just wondering because there are about a million kids out here most of which are still in highschool that drives mustangs like there the ****. This is a very red-neck town so if it isn't an American car they'll talk **** to you all day long..

 

I am glad someone sees that I know what I am talking about watch those old 5.0 esp. the coupe the hatch/fast back or what ever they call it was heavy as hell but, still fast as hell but that coupe is much lighter wut that big as engine. Its is a MONSTER with a intake it will walk all of us an anything over a 1/4

 

the 5.0s are fast but I mean they can be build up rather cheap and become monsters. but the top end is what a V8 will get ya. and Versus AWD forget it. All I know the 4.6L I raced with exhaust and whatever else was a dogg. and 5.0s can be beat from 0-80 without much mods on a DSM but after about 50 the mustang gets an advantage
