GST! by a mile! those v6 mustangs are so weak a friend of mine had one and it was automatic that thing was SLOW! and then one day he went to start it at a rutters and the whole thing caught fire and totaled it!!!!! just the way a mustang should be!

 

Yeah man....mustangs everywhere, here. That GS-T would definitely win, too.

I no longer consider any stock mustang past 93 a sports car, V-8 or otherwise. There's just too damn many.

 

hmmmm, this thread has got me thinking. there's a guy with a 96 v6 auto mustang that's been revvin at me everywhere i go and being an all around pric. i'm nowhere near as fast as a GST, but what you guys think? my little 1.5 turbo vs. that v6, what are my chances? i'm running 9pounds on a t3 super 60, full turbo back exhaust, MBC, SAFC II, stage 3 clutch, ect. ect. ect, do i got a shot or should i wait for bigger and better toys under the hood?

EDIT: as far as i know, he's completely stock other than a bunch of neon and a system that sounds like crap (and we all know neon adds like 20whp hahahaha)

 

What about a GST vs. a Saleen Mustang? I was driving through my town, I stop at a red light, and I see a couple guys get in this yellow saleen mustang convertible. Im not a fan of mustangs, but this thing was beautiful. They see me in my car, the get behind me and the driver starts reving the thing obnoxiously. That thing sounded so mean, like no mustang I have ever heard before. I was kinda worried about getting my *** kicked by a mustang for once.

Saleens are beutiful. I hate new Mustangs for the most part, but those things are amazing

 

You could say I was intimidated. I didn't even rev my motor back, and my car is pretty loud. That thing sounded like a beast.

 

fox body all the way! i love my eclips! but i would kill for a 1991 cobra! dam gives me goose bumps thinking about it.
i own a little GS eclips and i took a V6 stang! but i also have a 4.6 couger and it goes like hell!

but i fore sure agree that people in stangs are A$$'s and think they own the rode. till my buddy comes along in his SRT-4 and murders them"forged pistons, and a fully re built motor made for 28 pounds of boost +" i dont think much will keep up that! but any body that really worked there A$$ of for something like that deserves to be a little cocky!

mustangs are cool but i will alwasys love how fun my eclips is!

 

Lil Evo, I bet your car could take a v6. They are dogs. My 91 Cutty has stomped some.
