Suspension Is your ride slammed to the ground? Did you lift it so high you need a ladder to get in?

Question 2001 Montero XLS. Need Help

First post. I could not find any thread regarding suspension for a 2001 Montero XLS suspension. They may be out there, I just could not find them. This is my daily driver with 113,000 miles. The suspension is original. The shocks and struts are shot. I figure as long as I am in there replacing the shocks and struts, I might as well change anything else that needs changing. Problem is there is a lot more under there than a regular auto so I am at a complete loss as to where to start. What should I look at changing and is there a reliable online source to buy it from that you could recommend.

I am not looking to do anything fancy. I just want the ride back to original. I would like to do the entire thing in poly if possible.

Thank you.

Might be to late but thought I post something since no one on this damn forum likes to help anyone. But go to http://www.autopartswarehouse.com I found that sight useful. I would change the shocks and bushings if they look bad, while you down there you should grease up everything you can, find the nipple and make sure its the right stuff.
