2010 Outlander ES suspension issue
When I drive down the road and especially on the highway, I feel like my front end floats back and forth just a little. Nothing drastic, but enough I can tell. It's not the tires. They(Coopee Evolution)have 20000 miles on them and have been rotated every 5000 miles. I do know the boot on the passenger side CV is torn and it still has grease in it. Also, there is a light CV pop which is a sign of a bad axle, but I am not sure if it is coming from that side or not. Neither side has any excess play when the tires are off the ground and the tires are stiff up and down and side to side when pulled on.
The one thing I did notice that is puzzling was when I jacked it up from the front center on level ground. The passenger tire remained on the ground while the drivers side had 2" clearance. I had to lower it and jack that side up individually to get an inch clearance under tire. Any suggestion on what's causing this? Neither side seems to have any excess bounce.
