Ball joints.
I think I have to replace my ball-joints, do I have to go the rout of paying $150 a piece, or would a good camber kit take the place of them? I am looking at about $1,200 for using Mitsubishi's parts. I would rather NEVER talk to the dealership again. What is the cheapest rout to get it done correct?

RE: Ball joints.
[X(]I changed out the left front axle on my GS, 1990, and cut the ball joint boot in doing it, used a ball joint press to try and replace the joint, but, couldn't muster up enough torgue for the press to work.
The Axle removal/replacement went well otherwise and I saved enough money doing it myself, that I bought a new rear shock and installed it as well for the price of just the front axle job done by a tire shop!
Although, I did fudge up the ball joint, and I've had an estimate of $90 by Pep Boys to replace it!
