Sway-bar link

Sway-bar link
I have a 2004 lancer ralliart sportback, and i just changed the oil and noticed that both sway-bar links were not attached to the control arm. I'm wondering if this is how they are supposed to be or if they both have snapped. I'm thinking they have snapped and i need to replace them but i've never seen a sway-bar like this before. Any help would be great. Thanks

It looks like its a simple bolt setup going through the sway bar with a bushing and then connecting to the control arm with a bolt and another bushing. You can get them here
https://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html
for $11 each. or Rock Auto sells a cheaper brand for about $6 each here

Yeah, that is exactly what i needed. i got some napa parts for 20 dollars a set. The hardest part was getting the old broke set off, i actually had to tighten it till it snapped off. but other than that it was an easy fix. Thank you for your help.

I was looking for the very same part for my dad's 04 lancer. It's in the garage for quite some time already. We got the sway bar link from ebay and followed the guide on how to fix it. Thanks for the help folks
