When I go over bumps my dodge colt gl aka the mitsu mirage, makes a clanking or clunking noise, it seems to be coming from the front right side. any ideas what it could be? I was told it was the tierods so I checked the tierods and sure enough the outer tierods were bad so they were replaced. sears checked and replaced them, could they have missed something with the suspension, i think it is the suspension making the noise, but any help would be helpful. the noise seems to be coming from the wheel area. I pushed down on the car by the tires and the shocks seem to be doing their job well. Please help me.

Thank you,
Josh

If it's not your tie rods, I'd suggest getting some new shocks & struts (perfect time to lower your car if it's not already done lol).

check your sway bar. I had the same thing on my accent and then on my elantra. The bolt assembly on the sway bar was broken off.

is the sway bar expensive to fix? How do I check if it is the sway bar?
