2015 lancer es sport cvt auto 2l non turbo stock - whining noise
Hi Guys,
Vehicle description as above. Bought this car brand new. The second I drove it out of the dealership I noticed this issue. Hot or cold. Whenever I reach at least 50kph and release the accelerator (coasting) the CVT makes a whistling/whining sound as the speed drops. This goes away if i place it in neutral. I have been told that this is a normal sound. Fluid level is correct. Car in brand new!
Thoughts?
Thank you.

I would keep going back to the dealer if you are not happy...A simple way to test this...get the dealer to let you drive an identical car...same as yours..and take someone from the dealership with you...if that car sounds the same to you...oh welll....if not..then you have leverage over them to fix it.,,best of luck..let us know how it goes.
