Default OBD/ECU Scan

I own a Lancer 2006.

I want to ask if the scanner shows errors/faults at the first scan and after those errors have been cleared through the scanner and we re-scan the vehicle and the scanner now shows no faults, does this mean that there is no fault in the vehicle?

I mean the faults that were shown by the scanner initially were probably due to the reason that before scanning the vehicle the car wiring was opened by a mechanic i.e. its sensors were removed and cleaned etc..so may be the initial faults were there because they were logged into the ECU memory and as there is no fault in the vehicle therefore the scanner now doesn't show any more faults?
