Default 2008 Outlander Radiator Replacement

Hi all,

How hard is it to replace an Outlander radiator?

Slam panel off an up she goes or does it involve taking most of the front of the car off?...

Download the service manual on the other thread and read up. I can not imagine it being that hard. Last car i did it on I had to remove the front bumper. Not hard, but time consuming

Just thought I would update the thread to help others.
It is a case of taking the slam panel off then lifting the rad out, however:
1) The grill with the logo on it does detach by lifting vertically. There are some strong white 'press clips' on each corner which need levering. This is tricky without damaging the bumper paint.
2) Removal of the rad can be done from above but fitting the bottom hose onto the new one is best done from under the car. The clips for the undertray are not all the same...
3) The airbag sensor plugs are a bit odd to disconnect. I seem to remember you slide the outer shell rearwards to disconnect rather than shoving a screwdriver in...

Other than that, pretty straightforward.
