Default 91 2.0 starts missing at 3800 rpm.

Guys I have a 91 eclipse n/a 2.0 I've raised the idle to 1000 to 900rpm.
Starts great runs good until about 3800 3900 rpm then it starts missing bad like the timing or fuels is being cut. New plugs and wirers.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Check for a vacume leak... and check the condition of your spark plugs and spark plug wires

New plugs and wires.
There is no cap and rotor just four coil packs that the plug wires go into.
I'll check for vacuum leaks I just change out all vacuum lines.
But thanks for the fast replies.

tell me whens the last 2.0 you seen with a distributor... pay attention..
im betting on clogged fuel filter/ low pressure, maybe a bad cat, or the MAF is takin a crap if theres no leaks between it and the motor.
