Default Advice on a 88 Starion

i have the oppertunity to buy a 1988 mitsu starion esi-r. neds a lil bit of work but i dont know much about them. body id in good condition and has only 144k miles on it it. the guy is asking $2000 for it. what should i do

I don't want to burst your bubble but that price sounds high on something that model/year and with that mileage. At least check the Kelley blue book price on that at:

www.kbb.com

Also do some price comparisons on:

www.cars.com
www.autotrader.com

It pays to go into any purchase with as much info as possible whether it's a private owner or a dealer. Find...Print...Negotiate...Deal !

Don't be one of those people who won't walk away if it's not a steal (or at least a helluva deal).

very rare car.. not to bad of a price. too old for kelly blue book. and according to uk calculation there are 800 left in the world. not to many left, they are rotting...save the starions!
