well i just took it apart again and reassembled it and i have what i think it a more serious problem. when i got it all back together i went to change the oil. the oil was coming to a stop when my dad was putting water in the radiator. just when the water made it in there it went straight to the head and oil pan... what is the prob...do i need a new head more than likely???

 

hmmm, odd, I'm going with no, you dont need a new head, but you do need to seriously check to what, and where your hose conncetions are at. Also, are you sure that you dont have the head on backwards... LOL, I know it sounds dumb, but you could have reversed the head on accident, and then the dowel pins wouldnt align. The again, your head could be warped that bad

 

well i am not sure about my hoses being backwards but i do however know that my head is not warped. i just replaced the head gasket and checked both my head and block for warps or cracks and there were none...the guy who had it before me could have got the hoses mixed up..ill look into it thanx
