Can this just bolt to the stock manifold on a 1991 eagle talon tsi turbo FWD Automatic trany?

no. the stock turbo faces downward, and the 16g faces upward

No he has a 1G. the 1G turbo faces upward since it is a 14b housing which is the same housing as the 16G only difference is the wheel. so you are all set to bolt this up for a 1G

on a side note the 2G only Which is a T25 and that is the one that faces downward
