Fuel pump bolts.
Ok well i came across something kinda weird. My 93 talon the FP bolts were 8 mm, my 92 GSX were 8 mm. a 90 GSX i did was 10mm.Im working on a 93 TSi AWD exactly like mine, same MFR date to the dayeven and the FP bolts take a 7.5mm socket that took me an hour to find in my box of spare long lost tools. Theyre not rusty so i dunno.
Whats evryone else had to use? my GSX and talon have been apart before so maybe they were replaced.
i'm just curious of what other cars have on them.

TRE fuel pump
This car we gave the TRE 255Lfuel pump a shot. It installs exactly like the walbro, so far it works awsome and its QUIET! I can barely hear it at all. I did notice that as soon as you shut the car off the pressure drops to 0 instantly so i'm assuming the pump doesnt have a check valve.I had the pump running half out of the tank and there was no leaks.
It still starts up faster than it did with the stock pump
Rewireing is a must as the voltage drops to 9 under boost in this car but the pump is still keeping up just fine.

RE: TRE fuel pump
Could be, a 7.5mm is the one socket i thought i'd never use and mines the only one ive ever seen. I put different nuts on it so its 8 mm now. I know ill get stuck working on it again.
I get one running fast within a few months evryone wants me to work on theirs
