Well ever since i got my car back from the shop the idle has been goofy. When i start it up the idle is fine but once i get goin and stop at a corner it will go down to 1k rpm and up to about 1300rpm and back down etc. it will do that until im completely stopped.

How do i fix this because before it went into the show it didnt have this problem. im sure theres probably nothing wrong with it but it bugs me when im driving in the morning with not much for music going.

 

did any check engine light come on. It sounds too me like your throttle is sticking a bit. Try cleaning that first and see if it helps

 

It sounds to me like you have a vacuum leak of some sort. What you're saying is that your motor surges while you press your brakes but then it stop surging as you fully stop, correct? If so, trace back what the shop may have touched or go back and tell them what's going on.

 

well me and hatchetman9449 messed with the idle and we got it to not go up/down as for only like 200rpm but that was only for a little bit. not sure if that helps but i will try those and get back sometime

 

make sure theres no leaks before the airflow sensor, thats what had the idle all crazy on mine. i cracked the rubber hose when i took it off and i would get a surge at idle untill it warmed up all the way, but only if it was moving.
